LinkedIn Recruiter provides an excellent platform for recruiter/hiring manager collaboration
One of the major selling points of LinkedIn Recruiter is its ability to facilitate near seamless collaboration between hiring managers and recruiters. Hiring managers with access to LinkedIn Recruiter are able to review profiles shared by Zendesk Recruiters, provide feedback on each candidate and view candidate pipelines. The result is a more streamlined and productive recruiting process which increases the likelihood that a position will be filled with a great candidate as quickly as possible.

How to Access Your LinkedIn Recruiter Account
The first step is to request access to LinkedIn Recruiter. This step is required to receive a LinkedIn Recruiter seat. To complete this action refer to the following article -> Access to LinkedIn Recruiter.
Once you have Linkedin Recruiter access, you can access your Linkedin Recruiter account by (1) signing in through your Linkedin.com account, (2) via email notification that a project has been shared with you, (3) via a candidate feedback request email.
- Accessing LinkedIn Recruiter by signing in to your LinkedIn.com account.
- Go to www.linkedin.com.
- Enter your LinkedIn.com credentials.
- Click Sign in.
- Click Recruiter in the upper-right corner of the screen (Refer to image below).

- Accessing LinkedIn Recruiter via email notification that you've been added to a LinkedIn project.
- Open your email account and open the email. The email will be sent from LinkedIn Talent Solutions <messages-noreply@linkedin.com>. The email subject line will read You've been added to the project: (Insert Project Name).
- Click View project.
- Accessing LinkedIn Recruiter via candidate feedback request email
- Open your email account and open the email. The email will be sent from LinkedIn Talent Solutions <messages-noreply@linkedin.com>. The email subject line will read (Your name), please provide feedback on this candidate.
- Click Review profile
Reviewing Candidates in LinkedIn Recruiter
- Sign-in to LinkedIn Recruiter and click Give profile feedback located on the sidebar of your home page.
- To see all of your candidate feedback requests click on your LinkedIn profile picture located in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
- When reviewing a candidate you can select one of 3 options: Not a Fit, Good Fit, Dismiss.
- After you select Not a Fit or Good Fit you will have the option of providing additional feedback in the Tell us more section.
- After you have reviewed the candidate and entered your notes, click Submit.
Viewing Projects in LinkedIn Recruiter
There are 2 ways to view projects in LinkedIn Recruiter. (1) Sign-in to Linkedin Recruiter and click on the Projects link. (2) Open an email notification that a LinkedIn project has been shared and click on the View Project link.
- Access via signing in to LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Click on the Projects link located in the left-hand corner of the page.
- Click on the Projects link located in the left-hand corner of the page.
- Access via an email notification that a LinkedIn project has been shared with you.
- Open your email account and open the email. The email will be sent from LinkedIn Talent Solutions <messages-noreply@linkedin.com>. The email subject line will read You've been added to the project: (Insert Project Name).
- Click View project.
